Effective date: August 22, 2026
This policy applies to digital ebooks bought directly from Alden M. Corvale. It does not replace mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
1. Digital products and change-of-mind refunds
PDF and EPUB files are digital content supplied without a physical carrier. In jurisdictions that provide a cooling-off or withdrawal period, special rules can apply when you request immediate digital delivery.
For EU/EEA sales, the checkout asks for your express request for immediate supply and your acknowledgement concerning loss of the withdrawal right. Where the legal requirements are met, your withdrawal right can end once you start downloading/accessing the purchased digital content. If you have not started the download and a statutory withdrawal right still applies, contact us promptly.
2. We will help when something is wrong
Please contact us if:
- the purchased file is corrupted or cannot be downloaded;
- the files delivered are materially different from the book purchased;
- you were charged more than once for the same direct-store order;
- a technical error prevented us from supplying the purchased digital content;
- the digital content fails to meet mandatory conformity or compatibility requirements under applicable consumer law.
Where appropriate, we will first try to provide a working replacement or restore access. Where the applicable law requires a price reduction, cancellation or refund, we will provide that remedy.
3. Cases normally not eligible for a discretionary refund
Subject always to mandatory consumer rights, we normally do not offer discretionary refunds merely because you changed your mind after starting the download, bought the same title elsewhere, do not like the subject or writing style after purchase, or no longer need the book.
The free preview, description, table of contents, page/word information and compatibility information are provided to help you evaluate a title before purchase.
4. How to request help or a refund
Email vsninternet@gmail.com and include your order number, purchase email address, title involved and a short description of the problem. Do not send complete payment-card details.
5. Payment-provider disputes
Please contact us first where possible so we can investigate delivery or duplicate-payment issues quickly. This does not limit any right you have to use a lawful payment-provider dispute process.
6. Refund timing
Where a refund is approved, it is normally returned through the original payment method. The time for the credit to appear is controlled partly by the payment provider and your bank.
7. Third-party retailer purchases
If you bought the book from Amazon, Kobo, Apple, Google or another retailer, request the remedy from that retailer because it processed that sale.
